Todd Chase
Financial Advisor - Managing Director - Investments
Since 1989, Todd Chase has been tailoring individual financial advice and services to his clients, helping them to enrich the quality of their lives. By taking the time to build longstanding professional and personal relationships, Mr. Chase is able to offer a customized investment strategies for clients, and to help keep those financial objectives in sight.
Todd obtained his B.S. in Business Administration from Wake Forest University in 1989. He began his career in financial services with First Union, and in 1997, joined Wachovia Securities as a financial advisor. Specializing in customized retirement and retirement income planning for affluent individuals, Todd has received the Wachovia Way Award, celebrating advisors who have achieved extraordinary success in both their professional and personal lives, as well as memberships in the Top 100 and President's Clubs, awarded for achieving stringent client service and production criteria. Todd also holds his Series 7, 63, 65, 9/10 securities registrations, and life, health, and long-term care insurance licenses.
Taking an active role in the community, Todd is a current board member of Associates in Christian Counseling, Advisory Council for Southside Rides, Leadership Team member of the Winston-Salem New Canaan Society, and a past president of the Winston-Salem Children's Theater. As a father of four, Todd enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Brett Hoge
Financial Advisor - First Vice President - Investments
Through dedication to his clients, as well as a passion for his field leading back to his entry into financial services in 1999, Brett Hoge endeavors to understand the unique financial situation of each customer. With this, he strives to create an investment strategy that provides an appropriate level of support and advice, while putting the client on track toward achieving their financial goals.
Brett graduated cum laude from Appalachian State University in 1999, with a BSBA in Finance, Risk and Insurance. He started as a financial advisor with the private group One Source Financial Advisors the same year, and in 2002, moved to Wachovia Securities, where he joined Todd Chase. He currently holds his Series 7, 63, 65, 9, and 10 securities registrations, as well as Life, Health, and Long-Term Care insurance licenses.
Brett takes an active role in the Big Brother Big Sisters organization, where he has been matched to two young people, JP, since 2002, and Alex, since 2004. He has been a member of the board there since 2003, and is currently serving as board president. He and his wife, Wendy, have 2 children, and are members of Highland Presbyterian Church in Winston-Salem. Brett enjoys playing golf, big game hunting, fishing, and spending his free time outdoors.
Robert Maltzahn
Financial Advisor -Assistant Vice President-Investments
Robert Maltzahn offers clients financial services based on the value of integrity, along with an understanding of each client's individual situation. Since 1994, Mr. Maltzahn has developed strong relationships with both customers and coworkers, allowing him to provide top-notch advice and service.
Robert obtained his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1991 from Lenoir-Rhyne College, and after graduating, when to work for the college as an admissions counselor. In 1994, he changed fields, and was employed by Thrivent Financial as a district representative until 1997, when he moved to Wachovia Securities, first as a financial consultant, then as a financial specialist, and since 2005, as a financial advisor. Robert currently holds his Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations, as well as his Life, Health, and Long-Term Care insurance licenses.
Acting as treasurer for his church, the Lutheran Church of the Epiphany, among positions in other committees, Robert takes a very active role in serving his community. He volunteers as a basketball and soccer coach, and loves to spend time with his wife and 3 daughters. Primarily a baseball enthusiast, Robert also enjoys time spent on the golf course.
